Adult catechesis has been made the priority of all catechesis.
It is the focus, and all other catechesis is to flow from it. The emphasis of adult catechesis started with Jesus. He sent his disciples to spread His word. We are all called to be Disciples of Christ.
“Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, until the end of the age.” (Mt 28:19-20)
