Parish Pastoral Council
- an elected body of parishioners who foster a unified Christian community within the Roman Catholic Diocese of Richmond, Virginia
- an advisory group to the Pastor, accountable to the parish and the Diocese for carrying out the parish mission
- the structure through which parishioners can participate in the decisions that affect their lives within the church community
- provides vision and direction for the parish by reflecting on the past while planning for the future
- provides leadership to the parish by
- establishing and implementing pastoral priorities
- defining the mission of the parish
- instituting processes that provide for the prayerful development of long-range goals and short-term objectives
